Wine frozen in the box, what to do?

Post By 0 Comment(s)

Dear Friends,

We are bracing for another blast of arctic air and to ensure that your wine arrives in good condition we recommend that you allow us to hold it for a week or two until the worst has passed. If you need your wine right away, there is a chance it might form ice crystals or even fully freeze while in the delivery truck.

While we do not, as a rule, recommend freezing wine, very often a wine that has been frozen will taste fine if allowed to thaw and rest. If you do receive a bottle with ice crystals in it, keep it in a cool place and let it rest for a couple of weeks before opening it. If it is not to your liking we will happily credit you on your next order.

Stay warm!
